Queen of the uncanny, Iona Zajac reveals her most unsettling visual to date for new single 'Murder Mystery'. Not one to shy away from the spooky or uncomfortable, Zajac has truly outdone herself this time. Having shown hints of unhinged behaviour in previous videos and in her fever dream lyricism, 'Murder Mystery' sees Zajac's alter ego entirely emancipated. Sonically upbeat and lyrically a little bonkers, 'the way windows open I've not seen a latch that's like it', there's something celebratory in its idiosyncrasy. An instant earworm despite its kookiness, 'Murder Mystery' demonstrates Zajac's songwriting prowess, whilst the video is a macabre bit of fun.
